"Il Santo Veleno" is an independent Swedish mafia-thriller film. Synopsis: Santiago is an elegant and fastidious assassin who is caught in the chess game between two rivaling mob bosses. When his Don — the mysterious Mr. Cloud — challenges him with a demanding task with the aide of his secret weapon; The poison — he is forced to work together with the neophyte Jill — Complicating Santiago's reward of freedom.

Principal photography occured on location in Stockholm, Sweden from August—November 2020. Pick-ups were shot sporadically during the later half of 2021 as well as during Summer 2022 and once again in late Spring 2023. The dialogue ADR recording and sound-mix took an additional six months. The film is made by DEP Films and Paradise Studios. The premiere event was held at the cinema Kaskad on October 27, 2023.
