The Porsche Cayenne S has a 2.9litre Twin Turbo V6 with an eight-speed auto gearbox, power is set at 434bhp. This gives the Cayenne S a fair turn of speed, and the claimed 164mph top speed is I suspect on the pessimistic side and more than enough for our roads.

However I must draw your attention to the fact I said the Cayenne S has an 8 speed ZF gearbox which of course is absolutely correct but I then went on to say it is probably the same gearbox as I have in my Panamera. This is incorrect, the Panamera has Porsche's own PDK Twin Clutch gearbox which I guess reflects the sportier nature of this car's handling capabilities. Apologies guys.
