Bensen B-8B Gyro-boat - “ith all the new hydro-toys out there (Flyboard, hydrofoil board, etc) you’d think this concept would be a slam dunk in this day and age. The Bensen B-8B Gyro-boat was a development of its famous line of powered B-8 autogyros, and consisted of a bare autogyro frame attached to a dinghy. It could take off when pulled behind a boat at 22mph and cruise at 30mph, at an altitude of 30ft. The Gyro-boat kit was produced between 1956-1959. Don’t know how
many were delivered or how many heads and limbs were lost.
