In today's video, we had a suggestion to try Tony’s Chowder House restaurant in Mount Dora, Florida. We have been wanting to try this restaurant in downtown Mount Dora but it has some strange hours so it’s been hard to get there. However, Saturday’s they are open later so we were able to get in and try it. It’s a smaller restaurant but they are quick and efficient so it really didn’t take that long to get seated. Inside, it is all nautical themed. Of course, Tony’s Chowder House is famous for chowder and particularly their world champion Cedar Key Clam Chowder! They bring you little samples to try and we ended up getting a cup of it and it was stinkin’ good! We also tried the shrimp roll and the blackened shrimp. All the food was really good and the service was really good! We were thankful we finally got to try this restaurant in Mount Dora, Florida and we would recommend stopping by!
