The default settings MODE 2 ( Standard fight control settings for most Drones. (Page 09 in manual)
You can change to mode 1 by pressing the Record Video button while you turn on the transmitter.
I recommend staying in Mode 2 until you get used to flying

Even has a Emergency Stop Function -
Can be activated by holding the record video button and the lens Down button at the same time for 2 seconds.
