The prologue of the Gospel of John is thought by many to teach that Yeshua literally pre-existed his birth and that he is God made flesh. We contend, however, that John was not being literal, but rather, the prologue is a wonderfully poetic way to declare that Yeshua is the realization of God's plan of salvation.
