The Hess and Eisenhardt Company out of Cincinnati, Ohio began a bodybuilding relationship with Cadillac Motor Division in the year 1937. This extraordinary 1979 Cadillac Deville “Le Cabriolet” converted by Hess and Eisenhardt Company is extremely rare, in fact they are predicted to only have produced less than 300 Le Cabriolets. We predict more than half of them are no longer in existence.
We purchased this convertible locally here in Naples, Florida the previous owner owned this car since for almost 30 years, since 1989 who kept it in his climate controlled garage & cared well for it.
The powerful V8 engine fires up right to life, idles and runs smooth without smoke or abnormal noises. The automatic transmission shifts smooth, the air condition blows nice and cold and the cruise control works flawlessly. The power convertible top is operated with an electrical switch under the steering column and all power windows work as intended to. The car shows very well for a 39 year old vehicle with small patina, no rust and in good mechanical overall condition.
