We fixed the issue our remote can't close the garage door - Our garage door remote can only open the door but can't close it. The light keeps blinking if I try to close it, the door doesn't come down. I had to hold the switch inside the garage to get the door down. Once I let go, the door went up.

We thought the remote was problematic, but re-pairing it didn't work. After watching many videos, we learned the problem was with the sensors. The sensors on both sides of the garage door need to align for it to work. If the green light is steady, it means they're aligned.

Problem solved!
