New Epoxy Garage Floor Course: https://decorativeconcreteschool.com

This week we installed a vinyl chip epoxy and polyaspartic coating on a garage floor in Lynchburg, VA.

0:00 Overview of the epoxy garage floor
0:38 Grinding the concrete to prep for epoxy
1:04 Mixing epoxy primer
1:37 Applying epoxy primer to the garage floor
1:58 Broadcasting vinyl chips
2:41 Cleaning the chips off of the floor
3:09 Mixing the polyaspartic urethane top coat
3:24 Applying polyaspartic top coat

We started this project by grinding the concrete to remove old concrete sealer and prep the concrete for epoxy.

Once we cleaned the floor up, we applied a coat of 100% solids white epoxy. We used a squeegee to spread the epoxy and then we rolled it until it was evenly coated. Then broadcast 250lbs. of vinyl chips into the wet epoxy.

We came back the next day to clean up all of the excess chips, and then we applied a coat of clear polyaspartic urethane.
