Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches Verses 9-11 from the Twelfth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. This series of talks unfolds the highest truths of Vedanta through the study of "The song of God".

🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12 Verse 9:
अथ चित्तं समाधातुं न शक्नोषि मयि स्थिरम् |
अभ्यासयोगेन ततो मामिच्छाप्तुं धनञ्जय || 9||
atha chittaṁ samādhātuṁ na śhaknoṣhi mayi sthiram
abhyāsa-yogena tato mām ichchhāptuṁ dhanañjaya || 9||

🔴 If you are unable to fix your mind steadily on Me (even at the start) then try to reach Me through the systematic practice of concentration.

🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12 Verse 10:
अभ्यासेऽप्यसमर्थोऽसि मत्कर्मपरमो भव |
मदर्थमपि कर्माणि कुर्वन्सिद्धिमवाप्स्यसि ||10||
abhyāse ’py asamartho ’si mat-karma-paramo bhava
mad-artham api karmāṇi kurvan siddhim avāpsyasi ||10||

🔴 If you are not capable of practicing systematic concentration, then devote yourself wholeheartedly to works of service to Me (consisting in external worship and discharge of duties for My sake). Thus working for Me, man can attain perfection.

🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12 Verse 11:
अथैतदप्यशक्तोऽसि कर्तुं मद्योगमाश्रित: |
सर्वकर्मफलत्यागं तत: कुरु यतात्मवान् ||11||
athaitad apy aśhakto ’si kartuṁ mad-yogam āśhritaḥ
sarva-karma-phala-tyāgaṁ tataḥ kuru yatātmavān ||11||

🔴 If even this is too difficult for you to perform, then taking refuge in Me and thus controlling the mind, give up the fruits of all your actions (recognizing me as their agent and enjoyer).
