The Pixel Pump by Robin's is a small tool to pick and place SMT components (SMD) easliy on a printed circuit board (PCB). The Pixel Pump is intended for hobbyists and makers to execute short PCB assembly runs from one up to tens of boards. In this video, its creator Robin Reiter introduces the tool and shows how to use it.

The Pixel Pump is open source and can be hacked, improved or modified. At its heart is a Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller running MicroPython. All the design files can be found at GitHub.
