Follow the journey of the Imbak Canyon rangers and locals as they capture and share the captivating beauty of their home with the world through their camera lenses.

Yayasan Sabah and PETRONAS (in support of Yayasan PETRONAS) collaborated to organise a photography workshop for the rangers of Imbak Canyon and the local communities. The primary objective of this workshop was to equip them with essential photography skills, enabling them to serve as ambassadors in raising awareness about the crucial significance of conserving one of the world's oldest virgin rainforests. Since 2010, PETRONAS has invested RM83 million in the Imbak Canyon Studies Centre (ICSC) – a world-class rainforest biodiversity research facility located in the 27,000 hectare Imbak Canyon Conservation Area (ICCA), to help safeguard this natural heritage, focusing our efforts on biodiversity research, implementing reforestation projects for carbon sequestration, and driving advancements in renewable energy solutions. This collaborative initiative aligns perfectly with PETRONAS Uplifting Lives, a social impact program committed to empowering communities, unlocking their full potential, and fostering positive change.
