On Sunday 29 November, dozens of young, talented singers from all over Europe are invited to the Polish capital for the 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. And it’s a record-breaking year : TVP will be the first public broadcaster to host two Junior Eurovision Song Contests in a row.

Following Viki Gabor’s win at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Gliwice-Silesia in 2019, we told you that we'd be going back to Poland for the 2020 edition of the Contest.

Following the announcement in September 2020 by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), all of the competing songs are performed in a studio in each participating country. Their performances were also pre-recorded : this was the first time that the pre-recorded performances have been used since the qualifying round for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest.

Le dimanche 29 novembre, des dizaines de jeunes chanteurs talentueux de toute l'Europe sont invités dans la capitale polonaise pour la 18e édition du Concours Eurovision de la chanson junior. Et c'est une année record : TVP sera le premier diffuseur public à accueillir deux Concours Eurovision de la chanson junior d'affilée.

Suite à la victoire de Viki Gabor au Concours Eurovision de la chanson junior à Gliwice-Silésie en 2019, nous vous avons annoncé que nous retournerions en Pologne pour l'édition 2020 du Concours.

Suite à l'annonce en septembre 2020 par l'Union européenne de radiodiffusion (EBU), toutes les chansons en compétition sont interprétées dans un studio de chaque pays participant. Leurs performances étaient également préenregistrées : c'était la première fois que les performances préenregistrées étaient utilisées depuis le tour de qualification pour le Concours Eurovision de la chanson 1996.
