I did a summer test of the new Nissan Leaf 40 kWh. Due to limited time and also limited fast chargers, I could only discharge 63 % of the battery. The range of 245 km/150 mi is estimated based on that. This car has a WLTP range of 270 km. So my result is just 91 % of that one which is not too bad.

I estimate that winter eco range is about 200 km/125 mi as well as summer motorway speeds. The average speed in this test was around 80 km/h, 50 mph. This basically means that the current Ioniq with 28 kWh (approx 31 kWh gross) has the same range as the new Nissan Leaf. The reason is that Ioniq is more efficient despite having smaller battery.
