In 2022, Ava Hartman worked with the City of Terre Haute as a McKinney Climate Fellow, helping the Indiana community assess the health of its urban tree canopy and makes plans for expansion. Since the program's founding, nearly 100 Indiana organizations have advanced their sustainability goals through McKinney Climate Fellows.
