On this episode of EatUp Silicon Valley, hosts Sam Kabert and Sergio Oliveri are visiting our friends at LeanFeast Silicon Valley near the San Jose Airport. The guys are meeting the LeanFeast founder, Eric Larosa, who shares how he started this "meal prep" eatery in Willow Glen back in 2015.

The best way to describe the concept at LeanFeast is a Chipotle/Subway type quick service restaurant with all of the conveniences of a clean eatery. You’ll find a bunch of flavors of protein (chicken, steak, fish and ground turkey), along with vegetable and carb options to choose from. Customers select their desired portion sizing of a protein, a carb & a veggie…. it’s as simple as that.
