During a recent test day organized by Kateyama at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, I was lucky enough to record one of the main new entries in the GT3 panorama, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R, which made its debut in the 24h Daytona in the IMSA series, while it raced for the first time in WEC in Qatar.
TF Sport manages the two Corvettes in the World Endurance Championship, and will make its European debut here in Imola, so this test day was a perfect opportunity to get the first data from the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
The Z06 GT3.R is powered by a 5.5 l V8 N/A mid-mounted engine, which features also the flat-plane crank, and it develops around 500-600 hps
