Trackhouse Racing burst onto the main stage with Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez. Driver safety issues led to the sidelining of Alex Bowman and the end of Kurt Busch's full-time career. Erik Jones brought the 43 car back to victory lane for Richard Petty. Single lug nut wheels are an issue. Michael McDowell had a great year, and Martin Truex Jr. didn't.
