Persecution is referenced several times throughout the Bible with modern-day relevance. It can be extremely difficult for a person when it seems like people are just determined to get on their bad side. Whether you call them enemies, persecutors, antagonists, or even haters, you can feel alone and outnumber.

In these times, the best thing you can do is to turn toward the Lord and protect yourself. While you may not be able to change the hearts of other people, you can lean on the Lord for spiritual guidance and emotional support. The Lord hears our prayers and will work for our benefit, even if we don’t realize it yet.
