In this episode we are joined by the founder of the SPOT project (@spot_project), Abu Bakr Islam (Roadside2Islam). We discuss his journey of going from the street life in South London to building an orphanage in Gambia. We also discuss how the SPOT orphanage is different from others and the challenges that can come from trying to build such a huge project. We also discuss child abuse and other issues that are commonly swept under the rug in some orphanages and how SPOT aims to eradicate that.
