With the SUV and Crossover market still currently on the rise in America, Hyundai knew it was time to completely redesign their Santa Fe Sport in order to attract more appeal to their 5-passenger mid-size family crossover. Despite the Santa Fe’s sales figures increasing at a steady rate, many of its (direct and indirect) competitors (such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV, Chevy Equinox, Nissan Rogue, Kia Sportage, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Edge, Nissan Murano, Subaru Outback, Dodge Journey, and more) have been getting quite drastic updates recently. As a result, Hyundai decided to jump onto that bandwagon and produce an all-new model of their first-ever and best-selling SUV in America.
