On a day tour we visited the city of Da Lat and the surrounding fertile highlands. The area is popular with the Vietnamese because it offers eternal spring at sea level. The building style is also reminiscent of the upscale areas in Europe. We passed numerous coffee and pepper plantations before visiting the temple, waterfall, the Creasy House and the market in Da Lat. The tasting of the rare cat coffee, the cricket farm and the cable car ride over in Da Lat rounded off a wonderful day.
