KTRK Houston Channel 13 presented this special Flood of a Lifetime several weeks after Tropical Storm Allison caused massive flooding in and around Houston. It summarizes the station's day by day news coverage from Allison's formation in early June 2001 in the Gulf of Mexico, to landfall, to when it stalled inland and reversed course, dumping record rainfall over the Houston area. 22 lives were lost and this special shows that it was like a mini-Katrina level disaster for Houston.
