In this we will go through the components you will need, a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Board (although any board can work), a PiJuice UPS Hat, a micro SD Card, a USB to USB micro cord and a PiJuice Solar Panel. I then took this solar panel system out to one of my favourite beaches, attached a Pi Sense Hat and ran a Python script to record the local weather. This video also dives into the methods of choosing the best battery and a correctly sized solar panel for your own personal project so it can keep running 24/7 (weather permitting). I also show how to get the best out of this Solar Powered Raspberry Pi by adjusting some of the PiJuice settings by creating automatic shut down and reboot based on battery values. To adjust this easily you can connect a keyboard and mouse and monitor to they Pi. PiJuice Settings also show you the exact current coming in from the solar panels and out to be used by the Raspberry Pi.
