Spraying new ceilings without backrolling, is it unethical or illegal?
These are my thoughts on the subject and what I firmly believe, it's not what most painters think or believe so I'll leave it up to you to think about it and make your own decision.
I believe not having sarking under a tiled roof should be illegal but it's just unethical. Many builders do it happily and will tell you it's fine, I believe it's just cost-cutting without considering the future and just getting past the warranty period. It's something that can't be fixed without removing the tiles and starting again, just like when your ceilings start peeling, remove your ceilings and start again.
