A mouse is captured by a weasel who wants to make soup out of him. The clever mouse tells four stories that trick the weasel into releasing him. Each of the mouse's stories features a different song written my John Clark Matthews. Buddy Hacket plays the mouse; Will Ryan is the weasel; Pat Musick and Hal Rayle play various critters. John Clark Matthews wrote the screenplay based upon Arnold Lobel’s book. Produced for WGBH (in Boston) and premiered on the Long Ago and Faraway Series on PBS in 1992.
