Filmmaker Ami Horowitz says the pro-Palestine protestors at various universities in the US are “burning American flags” while protesting Jewish people and Israel.

Mr Horowitz joined Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi to discuss the recent protests happening in American universities in response to the war between Israel and Hamas.

“Some people may fail to grasp this very clear axium, that the people who hate Jews and Israel, you know who they also hate? They hate America,” he said.

“If you did a Venn diagram of the people who are anti-Israel, the people who are protesting in these campuses, and you ask them the same question ‘do you hate the United States?’

“The Venn diagram, the two diagrams will be the exact same circles, they are burning American flags too … so you’re talking about an institutional problem that these universities have.”
