Most common cause of fever in practice is viral fever or due to drug reaction as nowadays sulpha drugs and penicillins are not prescribed if a patient has them this can react with other drugs.Third cause is bacterial which is measels, rubella, chicken pox and dengue.Dengue fever rash appears when patient is recovering. All other fever rash appear in beginning at the earlier stage. For chicken pox rash appears in beginning till scab falls off.It's advised that contact with those people should be avoided. Any fever can come with headache, if headache is associated with vomiting one has to rule out meningococcal infection.Typhoid is very common which can be prevented by vaccines.Brucellosis, scarlet fever are other bacterial infections.Having a good diet, nutrition, soups, fruits help in hydration and help when having fever.
