VIII. Requirements For The Church To Be Victorious
A. Guard against division in Christ’s body (Matt. 12: 25)
B. Know and proclaim the whole of God’s Word (2 Tim. 3: 16–4: 2 [compare Acts 20–27])
C. Humble ourselves in repentance before God—corporate fasting included (1 Pet. 5: 5–6
[compare Ezra 8: 21–23])
D. Put on the whole armor of God—all prayer in the Spirit (Eph. 6: 13–18)
E. We need God’s supernatural power; including:
1. Gifts of the Spirit—especially word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of
spirits (1 Cor. 2: 1–5; 12: 7–11; 12: 20)
2. The contest between Moses and the magicians will be reenacted as the age closes
(2 Tim. 3: 8, 13)
F. Must apply the power of jubilant praise and bold proclamation (Jer. 31: 7)
Praise imposes silence on the enemy (Ps. 8: 2)
G. Our commitment must be total (Rev. 12: 11)
