This was recorded at a Friday sermon by Bayyinah Institute in 2016.

This khutbah by Sheikh Abdullah Oduro, tells an inspiring story of Um Salama (RA), how she persevered during times of tribulations and hardships. She was blessed with a firm heart and that Allah answered her prayer. Sheikh reminds us to contemplate and ask ourselves — Which type of Muslims are we? Do we give up easily if a trial befalls us? This is one of the reasons why we must connect with Allah at least 5 times a day in our daily prayers.

Time stamps:
00:00 - Introduction & doa

There is a beautiful Hadith about Passing on Knowledge:

Reported by Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Convey from me even an Ayah of the Qur’an.” (Bukhari).
