We were lucky to catch the soon-to-be retiring KC-10 Extender, from Travis Air Force Base, at RAF Mildenhall.

The aircraft was accompanying Trend 95 & 96, two F15Es from nearby RAF Lakenheath, across the Atlantic to America to join the Red Flag exercise.

The KC10 is due to be retired by 30th September 2024 with the KC-46 Pegasus taking over in the aerial refuelling role.
