In this video, I have attempted to make an Etsy- inspired wood wall art by mostly using some scrap wood pieces. Draw a plan for your mountains, thinking how they will all be arranged and then start cutting the wood pieces, mostly in 45-degree angles. I did cut them at 90 degrees too, so that I could use my entire wood sheets. Once you have your pieces cut, glue them together and oil/stain them to your liking. Then arrange them on your wood surface according to your initial drawing. Make sure that you support them by using some small wood blocks and shim pieces. It is important that you do this step so that the mountains maintain their shape and don’t fall loose where it is not supported. The shims and wood blocks will also help in creating the gap to place the lights under the mountains. Finally, glue/ screw these mountains from the back side of the surface and end the project by drilling a hole for the moon and cover it by a white, translucent sheet of paper, so that light could pass through it.
