Here is a short video of installing the in-line thermostat in my D2.

I highly recommend this modification.

This thermostat is 180 degrees but it lowers the coolant temp significantly more than the lower temp 180 degree factory Land Rover thermostat.

He sells a 170 degree thermostat for this kit but it will throw a code if you have a 2003 or 2004 D.

There a reusable gasket by Edelbrock P/N 7260. You only need one if you don't want to use the paper gasket. One issue is it is suggested you use silicone with the paper gaskets and wait 24 hours for it to cure before installing it.
