Lewis Baarda is back! This time, we're checking out our sugar beet trials, trying to reduce fall soil erosion following harvest. Previously, we used cover crops in the off-season and now we're testing them during the season with intercropping.

Our focus on intercrops for this project is winter peas & lentils, fall rye, and winter wheat.
