Learn 10 common homophones in English to celebrate Valentine's Day! In many English speaking countries, children hand out Valentine's Day cards to their classmates full of puns related to homophones. "Bee mine" instead of "Be mine" is a common example. Valentine's Day is a perfect time to practice your homophones! All of these homophones are pronounced the same, but they have different meanings and spellings.

We will practice 10 different common English homophones, and I'll teach you the meaning of each word and provide example sentences of each word. Which homophone is your favourite? Can you practice writing a sentence using one of these homophones?
