The Storm Prediction Center has issued an Enhanced Risk for organized severe weather across the Red River Valley in southern Oklahoma and Texas to far southwestern Arkansas and northwestern Louisiana. The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Plano, Lufkin, Garland, Texas, and Shreveport, La., are in this severe weather danger zone.

A Slight Risk for powerful thunderstorms blankets central and eastern Oklahoma to near the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coasts and as far east as western Mississippi today. Cities such as Houston, Waco, and Pasadena, Texas, Alexandria, La., Jackson and Greenville, Miss., Little Rock, Ark., southwestern suburbs to near Oklahoma City and Norman, Okla., will all need to keep a watchful eye to the sky for threatening weather.

Isolated to scattered damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail larger than golf balls will be the biggest severe weather risks; a tornado or two cannot be ruled out either.https://www.facebook.com/reel/9147027...
