We've received tons of questions from people who are interested in joining a Critical Mass ride but are nervous to join & they're not sure what to expect...so we made a 101 video so you can get a feel for it.

Some common misconceptions are that the ride goes fast (nope, its slow...super slow....In general BIG rides tend to go slow so the group can stay together. Your feet will be on the ground at times during the ride). The other misconception is that e-bikes, scooters, share bikes and so on aren’t welcome (everyone is welcome. You ride what you want to ride...well not a car tho).

Critical mass folks are the true OG's who helped shape biking culture into what you see today. Big thank you to all the Mass volunteers and all the route leaders who make sure everyone is safe and having a great time.
