Most of us have fond memories of playing the Mortal Kombat video games while growing up. . .or more recently! But how many of us have kept up with all of the comic books, movies, and lore? Because there’s a lot going on in this famous franchise, and we’re going to try our hand at creating an overview of the complete timeline. Which is pretty confusing, what with the time stream and all, but we’ll get to that later! We had to watch our beloved hero Raiden start out as a minor deity before losing his cool and his connection to Liu Kang. He was in charge of collecting mighty warriors within the White Lotus Society to stand against evil sorcerers like Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. Then there are the big baddies, including the Dragon King, the villain Shinnok, and Shao Kahn himself. It’s not easy to keep the Earthrealm safe, as our champions have discovered over. . .and over. . .and over again!
