Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, questioned former special counsel Robert Mueller during his July 24 testimony before the House Judiciary Committee. Gohmert asked Mueller about former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who Gohmert stated “hated Trump.” Mueller said that once he found out about Strzok’s views, he worked to move him from his role working on investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Mueller, who led an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to President Donald Trump’s campaign, agreed to appear before Congress, but warned he would not go beyond what was already documented in his final report.
