Camera lens filters and what they do
I keep seeing people getting confused over what camera filters actually do.
Often mistaking their really purpose, for something completely false.
I have heard people saying stuff like "If I use this filter it gives my images a professional look"
or "I get improved sharpness and vibrancy with this filter".
Well often people are mistaken and don't know what filters do what.
So in this video I look at some of the common misconceptions linked with the 4 most popular filters, the UV filter, ND filter, Variable Filter & Polarizing filter. I explain what they really do, but more important tell you exactly what the don't do.
Enjoy!
