Yamaha redesigned the Tracer 900 series and renamed it, for its third generation, the Tracer 9 and it is available, just as in previous generations in the 9 and 9 GT.

The changes and features took the then, high high demand, up a notch thus, making it the most wanted sport tourer amongst bikers/motorcyclists.
