After 170,000 miles on my 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec, something finally went wrong. Living in the midwest we battle with rust, and it finally caught up to the Genesis. Part of my exhaust, which is a combination of secondary cat deletes, Magnaflow catback, and DMH cutout valves, rusted clean off of the car. In this video we assess the damage and come up with a quick fix for the exhaust. We ended up using a sawzall to remove the rusted area and replace it with a 2.5 inch pipe with clamps. Ideally, not the best fix but it will get the Genny through a winter. Cheers friends and see you all in the next one!
