혼란스러운 시대입니다. 과학 기술의 발전은 우리에게 편리함을 주었지만, 그 편리함은 사람간의 비교나 경쟁을 부추기기도 합니다. 선의의 경쟁은 우리를 발전시키지만, 그 속에서의 허탈감 또는 자괴감은 누군가를 황폐하게 만들곤 합니다.

그러다보면 나만의 탑을 쌓는 방법을 잃기도 합니다. 내가 쌓는 레고 블럭보다는 남들의 것이 더 멋지고 화려해 보이기도 합니다. 왠지 지루하고 특색없어 보이는 내 일상이 초라해보이기도 합니다. 그래서 나만의 탑을 쌓는 것을 멈추거나 무너뜨리거나 포기하곤 합니다.

하지만, 걱정마세요. 탑은 다시 쌓으면 됩니다.
탑이 높던 낮던, 빛나던 빛이 나지 않던지 간에 당신이 쌓아올린 것이면 작은 조각 하나, 그것만으로 충분합니다. 그것이 인생이 아닐까요?
