GALAXY A52 👉 https://mikeobrienmedia.com/galaxy-a52
The NEW Samsung Galaxy A52 is one of most anticipated Samsung phones of the year. With a 90Hz refresh rate, 6.5" Super AMOLED screen, quad camera setup, and IP67 water resistance rating, this phone brings the specs. Big specs don't always mean big success though, so where does this phone stand? In this video, I put it to the test and help you decide whether or not the A52 is the phone for you.

WHAT GEAR DO I USE?
Heart rate sensor: https://mikeobrienmedia.com/Polar-H10
(Polar H10 is known to be one of the most accurate in the industry and therefore acts as a great standard to which I compare smartwatch heart rate sensors)

Haptics are strong but loud and cheap feeling

DISPLAY
6.5” FHD+ Super AMOLED

INTERNALS
Supports 25W fast charging, but no wireless charging
Snapdragon 720G (same as A72) - 5G variant may be quicker, but I will test it
4,500 mAh battery
Android 11
One UI
NFC, bluetooth
Several variations, this one has 128GB storage, 6GB RAM
LTE only, no 5G

Conclusion:
Midrange phones try to excel at one thing. This phone tries to excel at many things and actually excels in display, battery, and aesthetic/build quality. The cameras are mediocre and the processor is passable, but far from fast.
