We had been informed that the Boughton Estate would be closing the Grafton Underwood USAAF WW2 country walk for several months to allow the estate to remove all the old Asbestos fittings and roofs due to safety concerns towards the public.
So we loaded up the car and off we went to do some more exploring. We were quite surprised at what we discovered.
Fortunately they had been clearing away ground undergrowth exposing relics which had been hidden for a long time.
