The Sony RX100 V was released in 2016. Back in those days, it was the go-to compact camera for YouTubers and photographers alike. Two years ago I got the RX100 V for $800 in preparation for a trip abroad since I didn't wanted to carry my full T3i kit. Since then I've been using it as my primary travel (when I was still traveling) + YouTube camera. Many years later, this tiny camera is still my favorite compact camera to carry with me wherever I go.
