Why do you need workflow engines in data engineering?
What is a workflow engine?
Many years ago I thought using if-statements and such are the only way
to control the execution flow of my programs.
I didn't even know about workflow engines, BPMN, and tools like camunda, airflow and such.
But now as a data engineer workflow engines and tools like Apache Airflow have become an important part of my data engineering toolbox.
In this video I give you some reasons why it might be helpful to use workflow engines on your data engineering projects and also share some engines that I’ve already used.

All videos will be easy to follow and I'll try to reduce the complicated mathematical stuff to a minimum because I believe that you don't need to know how a CPU works to be able to operate a PC...
