08.28.2021 | 3:00 PM | MURRIETA - Massive flames and a fire tornado could be seen on video from the Chaparral fire in Murrieta, CA. At the time the footage was shot, the fire was at 450 acres. A witness on camera stated the fire started by someone target shooting. The Chaparral Fire started on August 28, 2021 off Cleveland Forest Road and Tenaja Road southwest of Murrieta in San Diego County. Evacuation orders in place – North of Tenaja Truck Trl, South of Calle Cielo, East of Calle Collado and West of Calle Be Bietol.
