Swaayatt Robots: Inspired by DARPA's 2007 Urban Challenge, Sanjeev Sharma founded Swaayatt Robots in 2015, investing 30 lakh rupees. Developing level 5 autonomous driving without costly LiDAR and RADAR, they showcased their achievement with just 3 million dollars in 2021 funding, surpassing Tesla's level 2 autonomy.

KhaDigi: In Kishanganj, Madhya Pradesh, Umang Shridhar faced the challenge of limited opportunities for women. She founded KhaDigi in 2017, investing 30,000 rupees from her mother, empowering rural women in digital printing on Khadi fabrics. Initially B2B, KhaDigi now thrives in B2C, with Umang Shridhar Designs achieving an annual turnover of 2.5 crore rupees, employing over 1,500 rural women.

The Kabadiwala: Anurag Asati and Kavindra Raghuwanshi addressed the challenge of recyclable waste disposal with The Kabadiwala in 2014. This online platform offers scheduled doorstep pickups, saving over 8.1 crore kilograms of waste across 5 Indian cities. The company, having served 3 lakh customers, raised 2 million dollars in their seed round last year to expand their waste recycling services to more Indian cities.

Gramophone: Established in 2016 by Tauseef Khan and Nishant Mahtre, Gramophone evolved from a farm advisory service to a full-stack technology platform, assisting farmers from sowing to harvesting. With co-founders Harshit Gupta and Ashish Ranjan Singh, they provide a comprehensive solution, aiding 2.5 million farmers and generating 180 crore rupees in FY22. This positions Gramophone as a major agritech startup in the region.

ShopKirana: Founded in 2015 by Sumit Ghorawat, Tanujtejas Saraswat, and Deepak Dhanotiya, ShopKirana facilitates grocery retailers in tier 2 markets to order from various brands, delivering within 48 hours. Despite raising significant funds, ShopKirana stays rooted in Madhya Pradesh, focusing on tier 2 markets. Expanding to 14 cities in 6 states, they lead in 8 cities and earned 682 crore in FY23. The recent launch of their food brand aims to enhance profitability in FY24.

Himalayan Organics:
In 2018, Vaibhav Raghuvanshi and Suditi Sharma founded Himalayan Organics due to the scarcity of locally-made vegetarian supplements in India. Investing 40 lakh rupees, they created affordable plant-based organic dietary supplements. Since 2019, the bootstrapped startup from a tier 2 city in Madhya Pradesh has served over 1 million customers, generating a profitable business with an annual income exceeding 100 crores.

Chai Sutta Bar: Chai Sutta Bar's inception is remarkable. Anubhav Dubey, amidst UPSC exam preparations, joined school friend Anand Nayak's chai-selling business idea. They invested 3 lakh rupees, establishing the first outlet in Indore in 2016. Since then, Chai Sutta Bar has expanded to over 550 outlets across India and three in Dubai, generating 150 crore rupees in revenue.

KrishiVerse:
Established in 2021 as Ouranos Robotics and later rebranded as KrishiVerse, this agritech startup by Nishi Patil, Prakhar Mani Tripathi, Aditya Singh Patel, and Kafeel Asif focuses on IoT-based solutions to enhance Indian farmers' productivity and profitability. Beginning with an automated plantation robot, they pivoted to Neer, an IoT-based smart pump controller, allowing remote control through a mobile app. Despite initial funding challenges, the founders won multiple hackathons, collecting 2 lakh rupees in prize money.

iTokri :Established in 2012 by Nitin and Jia Pamnani, iTokri, an e-commerce startup, pioneered artisanal handicrafts in India's nascent e-commerce landscape. Despite limited infrastructure, the Gwalior-based bootstrapped venture, initially funded by Nitin's father's rice mill, thrived with just 10 artisans. Adopting the Cash after Delivery model for trust-building, iTokri's unique touch includes personalized notes for each of its 500 daily shipments. Their unconventional approach has yielded 27 crore rupees in annual revenue, benefiting over 10,000 artisan families.

MyMandi: Founded in 2022 by Mahanaaryaman Scindia and Suryansh Rana, MyMandi facilitates vegetable cart pushers and street vendors to purchase groceries directly through their app, delivering to their doorsteps. Focused on the often-overlooked segment of cart pushers, MyMandi has attracted over 1,000 users, reducing costs and negotiation time. Operating in four states, their revenue surged from 10 lakh rupees in January 2022 to 70 lakh rupees in March 2023. With a 14 crore rupees investment.
