Instead of a year-end recap video, I thought it would be better to share how I felt about 2021 with all of you through a song. I wrote this song last week while reflecting on the past year and the goals I set for myself back in January 2021. My life has completely changed since then, from when I started writing my songs about the Dream SMP, streaming on Twitch, and actively promoting myself and my work. Despite my career and my work being very successful, I’ve still struggled with living through a pandemic, and with my own personal health and hardships. I was reminded this year of how easily I can lose the things I love and how afraid I am of change. But I was also reminded of how much I have to be grateful for, including each and every one of you that interacts with my content and supports me and my work. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for having taken the time out of your day to listen to my music for that first time. You have let me live my dream and pursue my passion every day now. Thank you 2021 for all that you were, and here’s to more to come in 2022!
